Simple and affordable
The building placed in Paseo San Juan, one of Barcelona’s main avenues, was built in 1885 and renovated in 1994. Currently two of its flats were empty and the owner wanted to reform both spaces for rent.
We proposed to recover the original ceilings, which were previously hidden, and refurbish coffered beams and one-way slabs.
We proposed a new trendy distribution of the space where the kitchen is integrated with the main living space and most existing partitions disappear.
This simple and affordable approach solved the current flats’ needs, obtaining a better performance of these new building spaces.
